Quality truth

Truth and reality are different things. There is one reality. There are many truths. Truth is something that accurately represents certain aspects of reality.

The question then becomes, if we want to capture reality, what are the most relevant truths to gather? That's such a difficult question to answer. There's a tremendous amount of subjectivity around what makes an aspect of reality important. I suppose I'd argue that it's most important to capture the truths that best allow us to shape reality moving forward.

But in order to do that, we need to have a vision for what we'd like that future to be. Agreeing on a shared vision is hard, maybe impossible. Everyone will seek truths to enable their own vision. So even if we're gathering more truths, the measure of their quality is always in the eye of the beholder.
